Ramadan Sunset Walk!

Muslim Aid and Oxfam have teamed up for the Sunset Walk, a short stroll with a big heart. It’s your chance to take part in the season of Ramadan.

Muslim Aid and Oxfam have teamed up for the Sunset Walk, a short stroll with a big heart. It’s your chance to take part in the season of Ramadan. To make new friends as you walk and talk – and raise money to provide food for poor communities worldwide.

It’s the most sociable and laid back fundraising you’ll ever do. And when the sun goes down, you’ll share a fabulously tasty meal at the London Central Mosque.

All the money you raise will go to a variety of food aid projects. To details & to register online, visit either:

DETAILS:

The walk meanders through Mayfair and Hyde Park – finishing at the London Central Mosque, Park Road, Regent’s Park. (See online for route details).
You can join the four-mile walk along the route at several points (see below), but remember to get your application in as soon as possible so we know how many people are joining where. It’s better for us if you can register in advance via the website (it saves us money!), but you can also complete and post the registration form.

Start 1: Victoria Embankment Gardens (Embankment Tube Station) - 5 miles
Start 2: Berkley Square (Central Mayfair) - 3 miles
Start 3: Manchester Square gardens (Nr. Baker Street Tube Station) - 1 mile
Finish: London Central Mosque (Nr Regent's Park)
Once you have completed the walk, there will be some fabulous food on offer when you reach the London Central Mosque, as well as a number of cultural events. Here's the times-
