| Abu Malik Al-Harith bin Asim Al-Ash`ar (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Wudu' is half of Salah; the utterance of (Al-hamdu lillah - all praise belongs to Allah) fills the Scales of good actions; the utterance of (Subhan Allah wa Al-hamdu lillah) (Allah is far removed from every imperfection and all praise belongs to Allah) fills the space between the heavens and the earth, and Salat (prayer) is light; and charity is the proof of Faith; and endurance is light, and the Qur'an is a plea in your favour or against you. Every person departs; he either ransoms it or puts it into perdition". [Muslim] | |

| Anas ibn Malik Radhiallaahu Anhu narrates that The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said, "Plague is the cause of martyrdom of every Muslim (who dies because of it)."

| Narrated Asma:
Allah's Apostle said, "Give (in charity) and do not give reluctantly lest Allah should give you in a limited amount; and do not withhold your money lest Allah should withhold it from you."

| O' People! Spread the greetings of peace, feed (the poor and needy), behave kindly to your relatives, offer prayer when others are asleep, and (thus) enter Paradise in peace. [Tirmidhi] | |

| It is from the sunnah of Rasoolullaah Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam that when he (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) used to see something that pleased him he (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) would say: Alhamdulillaahilladhee bi ni'matihi tatimmus saalihaat. الحمد لله الذي بنعمته تتم الصالحات
And when he (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) used to see something that he (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam), he (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) would say: Alhamdulillaahi 'alaa kulli haal. الحمد لله على كل حال
Reported by imaam Bukhaari Rahimahullaah from 'Aa'ishah Radhiallaahu 'Anhaa.

| It was reported from Anas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah appoints an angel in the womb, who says, ‘O Lord, a nutfah (mixed drop of male and female sexual discharges)? O Lord, a ‘alaqah (a clot)? O Lord, a mudghah (lump of chewed flesh)?’ When Allaah decrees that it is to be created, (the angel) says, ‘O Lord, male or female? Doomed or blessed? What is his provision? What is his lifespan?’ And that is written in his mother’s womb.”
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6595; Muslim, 2646. This version was narrated by al-Bukhaari).

| You're wondering about the doomed or blessed part? in arabic it's "shaqiyy aw sa'eed", a shaqiyy (wretched/doomed) person is one whose abode will be jahannam, and a sa'eed (fortunate/blessed) person is the one whose abode will be jannah. | |

| Narrated by Abu Huraira, While the Prophet was saying something in a gathering, a bedouin came and asked him "When would the hour (doomsday) takes place?" Allah's apostle ( )continued his talk, when he finished he asked "where is the the questioner?", the bedouin said, "I am here O Allah's apostle". Then the Prophet said, "when honesty is lost, then wait for the hour(doomsday)." The bedouin said, "how will that be lost?" the Prophet said, "When the power or authority comes in the hands of unfit persons, then wait for the hour (doomsday)." | |

| “The fast and the Qur’an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: ‘O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.’ The Qur’an will say: ‘I prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.’ And their intercession will be accepted.” (Ahmad)
‘It will be said to the companion of the Qur'an after he has entered Paradise, 'Recite, and rise!' For every verse he recites he will rise one level (in Paradise), until he recites the last verse with him.’ (Abu Dawud)
