I don't feel sorry for this man. He did what he did and said what he said. He was a tool for the Egyptian govt. How swift Allah is in his punishment. It was just a few months ago when he told a sister to take of her niqab and when she took it of he told her she's not 'beautiful' anyway, so why should she weart it....and today he's dead. May Allah give him his just treatment.

Exactly just a few months ago he was on the news and now he's gone.. subhanAllah..

May Allah (swt) continue to cleanse our Ummah from so called "scholars" like this one. May Allah (swt) give him what he deserves.

Conversation yesterday, whilst watching about his death/funeral on news:

Bro: wow, look at the amount of people and he got buried in Jannatul Baqee, musta been a 'top shaykh dude'

Me: erm, not really....you should learn more about him first *goes on to explain*

Bro: yeah whatever, how dyu know its really true??? he must have done good to be buried there...Allah wouldnt let just anyone have that place

Me: yeah, but if you know people who know people it helps

Bro: i dont care, you dont know anything, you're not a shaykh so shush

its difficult when what they so is simple but you dont know what to say back

You'd be surprised at the amount of people lamenting the loss of this "imaam al akbar", the sad part is that all these people are a bunch of fools who don't know the first thing about tantawis beliefs.

Alhamdulillah this shaytaan has been taken away from us. May Allah destroy people like Tantawi
