| If you cannot type in arabic, then you need to install and enable arabic font support, then you'll be able to type arabic using your normal keyboard, there'll be no need to buy an arabic keyboard. To Install Arabic Fonts. Download and follow the instructions from either of these sites, http://zsigri.tripod.com/fontboard/http://www.geocities.com/fontboard/---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After you have restarted your computer you should be able to type in arabic by choosing "AR" from the language bar in your takbar, if your language bar doesn't show then right click your taskbar, go to 'toolbars' and click 'Language Bar' Now to get arabic programs working, if your arabic programs appear as a bunch of question marks, Go to 'Control Panel' to 'regional and language options', to 'advanced' and change the language there to arabic, when you restart your computer your arabic programs will appear in arabic. | |

| ok so i'm getting there slowly but surely (3 days later lol)... n you know where it asks you to: '9. Select Arabic in the drop-down list of input languages and select Arabic ASDF Eastern or Arabic ASDF Western in the drop-down list of keyboard layouts. ' what do i select cuz it doesn't have Arabic Eastern/western - it has 'Arabic' n then all the arab countries: (U.A.E)/saudi/tunisia?Oman etc...should i go for Saudi Arabia? | |
