| Free…
We are free in the enslaved world…
While your freedom is anarchy
Lawlessness
Wars and feuds; no clarity
Confusion pervades, bloodshed flows
Hatred and anger when the truth we expose
Following Shaytan as his close followers
You say never trust your enemy
Yet you’ve welcomed him as your closest friend…
Shaytan right there by your side
Inner desires, your thirsts for sin; in him you confide
The world reduced to chaos and destruction
Humanity intent on slaughtering itself to extinction
Pride and arrogance in the breasts of men in reality so low
Too blind, too steeped in ignorance to allow peace to flow
Too ignorant to see the truth so clear before their eyes
Swamped drowning shrouded in their lies over lies
Unable to escape his whispers’ heeding his every twisted word
To think the pious are restricted, unsatisfied- it’s just so absurd
Corrupting heart with filth, soul dead, eaten up by swarming sins so vile
Faces dripping in fat, drowned in wealth, deadened eyes hostile
Yet still we are free in the enslaved world…
Your women posing like animals, displaying their beauty
Bare to skin, enticing men with disgusting desires, no sense of modesty
Their eyes bombarded with sights for reasons left veiled
Eyes still blind when it comes to the suffering and misery
Ears deaf to whimpering beggars, wallets full, plain greedy
Ignoring children’s cries, turning in contempt from their pleas for mercy
Million dollar shopping malls, feeding vain desires trash
Working, worrying, so busy earning piles of cash
Obesity from stuffing mouths too full to take in any more
While the poor starve wasting till they die, their suffering you ignore
Skeleton thin, withered bodies, haunting eyes earning no pity
No compassion from hearts chiselled out of stone, no love
No love, no sense of brotherhood, no sense of unity
Nations at each other’s throats, seeking only to destroy and kill
Aim to drive out a truth that goes against their sinful ways, blind to His Will
In contrast… her followers’ are pious beacons of hope, oasis’ of light
Shining so bright out of the darkness, examples preaching equal right
Enduring pain and suffering, yet still they do not ask of men for respite
Relying in Allah alone to protect them and guide them, despite
The world crashing all around, lost in Shaytan's grip, heedless fools ruling in tyranny
Those who speak out against injustice murdered, imprisoned…
Still the truth cannot be caged however they might try
Murdering millions of innocents without the blink of an eye
No remorse or regret, sinners doomed to blazing fires of torment
No thoughts of forgiveness, feeling no need to repent
Yet still we are free in this enslaved world…
You look and see our modesty, our simple way of life
Our women veiled, guarding their honour, beauty reserved for those who deserve to see
You think in ignorance, calling us forced, calling us to ‘liberty’- what we call anarchy
How laughable… yet instead we cry
For this deen we follow is so beautiful, why we’re unafraid to die
We are the ones who are free, in reality, if only truth you could see…
Obeying our Lord's commands in exchange for eternity
Peace while you’ll burn in fiery depths, never-ending severity
Turning away from His bounties, ignoring His mercy
Dunya’s chains cannot hold us down, slaves only of our Lord
Every deed, every breath… nothing is missed from His Record
Our Book of Deeds containing our worldly works, then the Scale
Weighing out the good from bad, deciding whether this Test we pass or fail
Every atom’s weight accounted, still we pray for salvation, for mercy so fair
Yet you fall down in despair; realize too late the damage you can’t repair
Dragged down to that dreadful pit fuelled by men, burning flames of fear
While we’re free, with assurance in Allah for protection, seeking His Pleasure
Raised in His eyes without a care for your opinions, never tasting worldly leisure
For nearness to Allah is no doubt the greatest treasure
The serenity and peace, the glory of eternal Paradise our reward
This knowledge why we struggle, why the truth can never be caged
Allah the reason why trading Akhirah for dunya is a trade we can’t afford
This is why we’re still free in this enslaved world…
Send peace and blessing on our Messenger
Allahumma Salli wa sallim wa baarik alaih.
La illaha ilalla Muhammadur Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wa sallim...
