If the desire is haraam then it won't be granted you know that right?

| Asking for a lambo (not the one on ummah ) is a halaal desire, there's nothing haraam about it, asking to drink wine etc is a different story, if you make dua a thousand times a day to drink wine and get the world to make the same dua it still wont be accepted. but then again the word "desires" isn't exactly the best of words to use and could have different meanings if halaal was not added in it. | |

| you've just shown how madhabs work, what i said wasn't wrong nor were you wrong, yet we both came to different conclusions by reading the same thing. | |

| Not choice, when choice is involved then it becomes fatwa shopping.
You should follow the madhab that your teacher follows, that would be "best" for you.

- ah wow i guess you're right and thats why the madhabs aren't 'incorrect' rather different intepretations on the same thing - the sunnah - so they are, in more than one way linked as they derive from the same source..
hmm but when you come across these diverse conclusions of interpretations how do you know which one is the 'best' one to actually follow? and is there a 'best' one, coz if its just interpreations of sunnah doesn't it make all of them the 'best' ones to follow? and if its all right, there is non that can be wrong right?
does it simply depend on chioce/upbringing? or are there signifigant things we know about particular madhaahibs which prove that they are the 'best' to adopt/live by? , There is no best madhab, they all provide answers to important questions so that we can follow the Quran and Sunnah properly, and not any one of them is categorically better in everything than another. After the time of the Sahabah (RA), there were 100s of madhabs yet only these 4 exist and are considered to be valid as they were based on the strongest evidence. They are all "right" because Allah has given us the Quran and Sunnah and left it to open interpretation, so that we will have differences of opinions, which are a Mercy from Allah. It's to make it so that Islam is not too rigid, and is easy to follow. WaAllahu 'Alim. Because the 4 Imams were some of the greatest scholars of the past, of who no one was able to surpass in Fiqh after them, no one has the ability or the right to say which madhab is best. Therefore, what is said, is that you should follow the madhab you have most knowledge of and can easily gain knowledge of. And that's why what akhi Admin said is correct, that you should follow the one your teacher follows. And I think we're going a bit off topic here, so to bring it back on track: what car does everyone have? :') Wassalam.

| , I got a Nissan Micra . But it's not the usual one, it's 1.3 Special edition :'). Not bad, you can actually beat some people in races, especially when there's no fat people in the car to weigh it down :'). - Black_Flag wrote:

| I drive a pretty light weight of a car - Nissan Tiida, my dad calls it a 'papercar' Now if only I had one of these *faints*: I'm giving my dad a hard time Lol - he says, money spent maintaining the one like above would otherwise see us buy and run 5 Tiidas... *sigh* like who wants a tiida anyway? [*roll eyes*] | |
