Final Words…
I weep for you
O my brother whose voice is lost in the darkness
Your tears are of blood
Only your screams shattering the silence
No words are left that can hope to convey
The pain you face through night and day
Nothing is left, no home or family
I feel your suffering, but can no longer be the voice of sanity
I’ve given up, for the pain you know and the horror’s you’ve seen
Cannot compare to anything I can describe no matter how obscene
Your little girl was murdered with a bullet through her head
And the world’s gone insane, the earth filled with the dead
The sky burns and the earth mourns and the air stirs, yet you have hope
Your body’s burn and your screams are drowned out, yet faith’s your rope
I’d cry your tears yet yours are of blood, and your eyes have seen that which I never saw
I’d speak for you yet your corpse is a message one cannot ignore
I must stop O my sister for there’s nothing left for me to do
Know I’m with you through these words, words directed but what the soul only knew
Soon I’ll join you in the realms of death; yet yours is in war while I’m safe yet at home
And remember… no matter what, O sufferer, you are never alone…
I weep for you
