It is known amongst the students of Hadith, that methodologies varied from one Scholar to another and this rare course will shed in depth, how these great Scholars accepted Ahadith as they did. Al Buruj Press takes the honour under the tutorship of Shaykh Muhammad Akram Nadwi to give an opportunity to all those who want to learn and critically study Ahadith, to first closely examine the way in which these great Scholars accepted and authenticated Ahadith. This is the first approach in order to study and open a book of Hadith and this is a must attend course for those reading and studying Ahadith
Tutor Details:Shaykh Muhammad Akram Nadwi is from the Indian city of Jaunpur, who studied and taught Shari'a at the prestigious Nadwatul 'Ulama (India).
He is a Muhaddith who has specialised in 'Ilm ul Rijal or the study of the narrators of Hadith. He has Ijaza (licenses) from numerous scholars including from the great Shaykh Abul Hasan Ali Al-Nadwi, Shaykh Abdul-Fattah Abu Ghuddah and Shaykh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi. He has a doctorate in Arabic Language from Lucknow University, India. Shaykh Mohammad Akram Nadwi studied Islamic sciences at the prestigious Nadwat al-Ulama in Lucknow, specializing in hadith and fiqh, subjects which he also taught at that madrasah. He did his doctorate at the University of Lucknow soon after. He has written over 25 books, in the fields of Arabic, hadith, fiqh, and Islamic biography. He has recently with the grace of Allah completed a 40-volume biographical dictionary of the muhaddithat, the women scholars of hadith. He has translated and adapted the muqaddimah of this work in English under the title al-Muhaddithat: the women scholars in Islam (2007). Also now available in English is Madrasah Life (2007) the translation (from Urdu) of his personal memoir of a student's day at Nadwat al-Ulama.
