Imaam al-Shaafi’i Rahimahullaah said: ‘There is nobody except that he has someone who loves him and someone who hates him. So if that’s the case, let a person be with the people who are obedient to Allaah `Azza Wa Jall.’

Reflect, submit, and act...

Get your tasbeeh, sit on your bed away from distractions, and close your eyes. empty your mind of all thoughts, and then recite 'laillaha illalla...' constantly but softly. Reflect on Allah, wonder over His Magnificence, His Glory, the beautful creations He has fashioned.

Reflect on death; of the fires of hell scorching through your body, or the coolness of the waters of al-Kauthur quenching oyur thought on that Day...

An hours reflection is better than a year of worship, in the way ot draws you closer ot Allah; you understandy His blessings upon you, you realise your true insignficance, and feel a stronger love and understanding in your heart. The Prophet's, peace be upon them all, were guided by Allah through thier intellect; with the example of Rusoool Allah (s.a.w) meditating in Hira when the revelation came down.

Just spend some time of each day or night solely for reflecting on Allah and His creation; write a Will to remind you of death and keep it beneath your pillow as you sleep; ponder over the verses you recite in sallah or within the Qur'an os you gain a gimpse of the true effect these exalted words had on the hearts of the Sahabah who came before..

Reflect, submit, and act...

Submit by concreting the realisation on your heart and mond at all times, with the form intention to act upon it..

Thus it leads to acting upn what you learn; your reflections and tears bring to you an understanding; for example, relfecting upon death causes us to realise the signifcance of our time- thereofre, we can crretae a wird, or routine for ourselves/ a timetable showing us how we should spend every dsingle moment of our time.

Strengthen your relationship with the Quran; reflecitng on the meaning of an ayah or surah ect , acting on the commands within that portion. memorising the Quran, or teaching it to others and so on.

SO reflect; this intellect is what distinguishes the human being form the rest of cretaion- why we're not decsended from apes! This intellect is what allow us to learn about Allah, to worship Him, and to act according to His Commands.

REflect, submit, and act...
