Ok. Al-Shabaab and Hizb-ul-Islam(they have merged as one now under Al-Shabaab's name) are fighting to bring all of Somalia under their control. They want to rule with Shariah, free Masjid al-Aqsa, re-establish the Caliphate all over the world.

TFG government, whos president is Sheikh Shariff was the lerader of the Islamic Courts, the Mujahideen when Ethipia invaded back in 2006. He went and started "peace talks" and started sucking up to the Americans, etc and is now no different to the likes of Zardari or Hosni Mubarak, etc.. He is in the capital Mogadishu being protected by African Union forces and they recieve tons of weapons from America.

Ahlus Sunna-was Jamma is a joke LOL. They are sufis. They started fighting against Al-Shabaab after Al-Shabaab destroyed shrines, etc and graves which leads to shirk. LOL so they took up arms to defend their dead "saints" lol. They are probably in it for the money. They back the apostate TFG government.

Union of Islamic Courts is whats left of the former Islamic Courts who ruled half of Somalia in 2006. I think there was news recently that they have stopped backing the TFG government. Allahualam how true that is but they used to be with the TFG govt.

So anyways, basically everyone in and out of Somalia are against Al-Shabaab.

Imam Anwar al Awlaki said this about them: http://www.anwar-alawlaki.com/?p=60

From what I know Shariif Ahmed (aka Sheikh Hotel) doesn't rule Mogadishu except for a few miles around the presedential palace, and that is with the backing of the African Union troops. How can he be called president? Such a disgrace. He turned his back on the Ummah.

One thing I fail to understand is he (and his so-called government, which consist of former warlords, drug dealers, rapists etc. you get the image) calls the Muhajireen to Somalia from other countries 'foreigners'. Pray tell me, aren't the African Union & Ethiopians foreigners to Somalia & on top of that kuffaar? Or have they become brothers now roll eyes ?

^They make a lovely couple, eh? Hmm where did you get the map from akhi? Shaytan Sharif and his hommies only control a few blocks of mogdishu. As for "Somaliland" is a complete joke! Al Shabab can take over in a matter of seconds.

Subhana'Allah Akhi Abu Sulayman I couldn't stop laughing at the 'Shaykh Hotel" I call him "Shaytan Sharif" but "Shaykh Hotel" is perfect!

The reason why I & some others call him Sheikh Hotel is because after he fled from the battlefield (and we all know how great this sin is) and betrayed his brothers, he handed himself over to Kenyan authorities and this is it were it all started, it's here where he met his paymasters, he was brought to luxurious hotels & he tasted the $$$ and the dunya so he made a 180 degree turn and is no different then AbdDollar of Saudi.

ah okay, makes sense...jazakAllah thumbs up

ya know, i were talking to someone yesterday about the Saudi Royals...and they said that Saudi have acquired lots of land in Pakistan to for 'agricultural' purposes, and said that 'they have finally given up going after the USA and Allah has given them hidaayah'...i found that a bit fishy Suspect given the USA/Pakistan stuff going on confused smile then they said that it were on news that the UK will be relying completely on exported foodstuffs, and wont grow anything here...which is a sign of Qiyaamah...
hmm....
