TIME…
Beloved Intercession

Now the seconds tick by,
And every moment is dear
Drawing closer to the Day
When we’ll be brought forth to gather
Before the court of Allah, the sinners faint with fear.

An atoms weight of good, will be shown before our eyes,
But a mountain full of sins will make the sinners realise,
That we’d ignored our deen and failed the test,
Sick with fear, for in Hell there’s no rest.

We run towards the Prophets, “Save us!” we cry,
We cannot help you, is their reply
The sinners despair, no hope for us now,
But the Ummah weep out of joy, not fear
Gazing in awe at Ya Habibi
Prostrating-in sajdah, his mercy crystal clear,
Begging for our forgiveness, Ya Rusool Allah, we long to be near.

Flung down a pit of Fires fuelled by men and stones
Flames rising, heat intense, melting body, boiling bones.
Sever pain agonising searing though
Regretting past sins now there’s nothing we can do.
Screaming, yelling, blazing flames alight
Begging pleading to Allah for respite.

When suddenly we’re pulled away from the fury of Hell
Taken out towards Jannah, where we’ll now dwell.
Confused we ask about our salvation from the torment
In reply they answer, did you not repent?
Your Lord is most Forgiving, and from his Ummah are you
Ya Rusool gave intercession, his love showering through.
You once followed His way and sent salaams upon His beloved
The power of a few words multiplied out if Allah’s infinite Mercy
Oh people do not neglect to praise Allah;
Turn in repentance and obey His commands, pray Salah.

Remember your death is so very near,
So never feel safe from Allah’s punishment
His Mercy held so dear.
The path to guidance couldn’t be more clear
To Allah’s orders, we must adhere;
For then Jannah will be ours
Insha Allah… If that is His Will, we will remain steadfast
Following his noble Sunnah, of the Prophet’s he’s the last…
