Longing for Jannah

These emotions, which have blazed through my heart and soul,
So deep, igniting the greatest desire,
Coursing through my veins like blood,
This furnace of love is almost overwhelming,
The greatest of floods cannot hope to extinguish this fire.
Oh my lord! How I long to gain your eternal pleasure,
How I beg to be near! For this honour is a priceless treasure.

No other way to gain immortal paradise
Than by being near the Immortal One
Every thought your mind possess, filled with His remembrance,
Memorising the Final Revelation and Sunnah
Of the mercy to mankind
Words flowing from your moth like rivers of dhikr
Praising Allah and His Messenger through night and day
Your hands helping those in need
Writing wisdom to pass on this noble deen
Your eyes bestowed with so much blessing
Seeing veils lifted before your lowered gaze
Your heart bursting with pure love for your Lord
And crying in anguish at the low state of mankind
The Ummah of Ya Habibi fallen to their knees
Ignoring the teachings of the best of creation
While a few struggle to bring them back to His deen
Their piety clear in their humility and modest attire
Beauty veiled while others veil their hearts from the truth
Their character so noble, oasis’ of tranquillity out of the confusion
Unmoved by the tides of destruction crashing this world into chaos
Anger un-roused by the words of abuse hurled like stones of fire
Instead, they persevere with patience s miles so bright illuminated with nur
A soft pure light on their features the marks of prostration upon their brow
Their hearts filled with taqwa and reliance in Allah, so sincere
Noting can shake their iman; words of neither hatred nor praise take effect
For all praise is for Allah alone and only He can benefit or harm as He Wills
No other way to gain immortal paradise than by being near the Immortal One
Trusting in His infinite mercy, heart bursting with pure love for our Lord
For the price of gratitude and obedience is the most breathtaking abode
Too beautiful to contemplate, with rivers of pure milk as sweet as honey flowing past
And fertile green lands as far as the eye can see, fruits and foods of exquisite abundance
Palaces of incomparable richness our homes, wives of unearthly beauty reclining on silk,
No desire of this world unanswered; the highest status Firdous,
In the company of Ya Rusool…The most beloved of all creation...
What more could one want than al-Jannah?

These emotions, which have blazed through my heart and soul,
So deep, igniting the greatest desire,
Coursing through my veins like blood,
This furnace of love is almost overwhelming,
The greatest of floods cannot hope to extinguish this fire.
Oh my lord! How I long to gain your eternal pleasure,
How I beg to be near! For this honour is a priceless treasure.
Pray to enter the highest levels of Paradise, Jannatul Firdous, for all eternity
Make this dua for yourselves, your family, this Ummah…
Those you know and those you do not; make this dua for all Muslims,
And for all humanity to enter the light of Islam.
Send peace and blessing on our Messenger
Allahumma Salli wa sallim wa baarik alaih.
La illaha ilalla Muhammadur Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wa sallim.
