Beautiful Rose

A priceless ruby, a sweet pinkish red,
Each delicate petal so soft, forming a feather-light bed.
With a fragrance of dreams, and a vine of deep thorns,
Both darkness and light, like when the morning light dawns.
Portrayed as a symbol of love,
Each caressing petal shrouded in mystery
As though taking root in the heart,
Pure and tender, blossoming with indescribable beauty
More beautiful than a masterpiece, rich and deep
In these times used to unite two souls or cause one to weep.
Such beauty and complexity perceived through a single glance;
Realisation in the heart that no creation’s by chance,
Every aspect of creation beyond human capability to even conceive
His Signs scattered through His creation as reminders for those who believe.

The flower of heavenly magnificence standing shyly in a graceful pose,
This deep dark beauty but an example of His Power; this single rose,
A wonder of Allah, transcending all bounds, Most High
Allah’s Signs in His Creation, the greatest being the miracle of noble Book.
Its verses urging us to ponder His Majesty, right now from where you lie,
Reflect on His countless Bounties, so many blessings in a single eye,
Draw closer to His cherished Presence, with everywhere where you look
Praise and Glorify our Lord, call him by His Most beautiful name
Trust me, for your impression on life will never be the same.
Realising the true worth of this life and the purpose for our existence,
Live the life of a pious believer, grateful for His Rizk, His sustenance.
For Jannatul Firdous, the greatest abode in Paradise we must raise
Raising our hands in prayer, tongues’ busy with glorification of His Praise
Hearts longing for His presence, for clarity of truth through this sin black haze.

His Signs scattered through His creation as reminders for those who believe...
