| actually, we sleep too much, plus we eat too much which makes us lazy... if the Sahaba and Prophet(s.a.w) can go sleep straight after Isha, then wake for tahujjut (night prayer), go sleep, wake up at Fajr and stay awake coz thats when their day starts, t memans than livin in a hard desert area doing phtysical labour, spreading islam., fasting, getting abused ect wich is energy consuming... they get a few hours a day and are the strongest warriors of islam... we waste a third of our lives asleep imaginwe going to Allah and saying, sorry i doculdn;t do enough good deeds coz i wasted a thord of my life asleep if u live to 60, sleep 8 hours a day, thats 20 years spent sleep, plus eating, school, work... what time's left for ibaadah? |

| Actually you can make your sleep into 'ibaadah, it doesn't have to be wasted. I slept so little yesterday that i didn't even get a chance to disturb my blankets _________________ “There is no worse calamity for knowledge and its people than when outsiders intrude. we sould follow the sunnah of sleeping, and yes, by our intentions our sleep can be taken as ibadah, especilally the sleep of a fasting person. even so, we shouldn't sleep more than 8 hoours a day coz ii think thats just laziness, but the slep was made for rest, so we should atill get as much sleep as we ned in order to function properly. sum poeple can get away with few hours like 2/3 hours (very few people) 4-6 hours is good, (so i think, not saying that i do) but i still reccomend sleeping less at lesast in Ramadn as there's so much blessings to be reaped in that beloved month, so i ocnsider it awatsed if all we want to do is sleep sleep sleep wehn we cud be praying taraweeh, night prayers, reading Quran ect instead. inshaAllah you'll sleep better aswell, especially as rRamadna's near now and u need goofd sleeping ahbits, waking up early nad sleeping late, and leaidng taraweeh and fasting tkaes a lot of energy so u need to be well erested and not fall asleep during salaah subhanAllah for all the work u do, hav a blessed Ramadan inshaAlah (evryone, ramadan mubarak for ewhen its Ramdan in case i dont get a chnace to say so later )_________________ SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, SubhanAllahil adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme) The Prophet (s.a.w) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are LOVED by the Most Merciful One"[Sahih al- Bukhari; 7:67, Muslim; 4:2071] [url http://www.sunnah.org/ibadaat/tasbihat.htm][url http://www.kalamullah.com/] |
