| I.. =/ never realised. Can someone suggest a good urdu to English translating website or should I just purchase a dictionary? I've tried the ones that come up in google when you search they're rubbish. =/ |

| er.. when I read urdu or speak in urdu it kinda feels wrong to pronounce the letters wrong although...perhaps that's what you do in urdu I dunno... Is that what you do? But then I'll start pronouncing the same letters wrong in Arabic... I don't want to get into that habit. |

| It doesnt really matter nisaa Ba is bay in urdu Ta is tay And like that but shouldnt worry about that much. They get pronounced the same as in arabic when speaking sentences |

| No like the daad in urdu... is from what I know is pronounced 'z' and so I don't say that but when I saw it proper it sounds deformed. =/ Only cause I don't wanna be saying it all funny like and get into the habit, plus I find it weird.... |

| Daad is zaad in urdu. Its weird but that letter dont get used much though |

true, i find it weird too...so i just use it in certain words but stuff like 'hadhrat' i say like that...not 'hazrat'

Zaruri... daruri... I say the latter, but then it sounds dumb cause everyone else says zaruri.
I said zaruri today... =o and one time I came out with namaaz too... =O cause I prefer to say salaah... it was just a shocker.. =P >_> |

| Thats good sister...in urdu you are free to use the arabic words...that will only give an impression of how good and knowledgable are you...if thats the only reason that is causing an obstruction in learning urdu then throw it away from your mind. Its just a minor thing |

| You banana I don't say it out loud you know I muffle it and go quieter dur. >_> Plus say it a little less pronounced proper like don't do it so full mouthed, it doesn't sound so bad. Don't mistaken the 'd' for a dal, it's a daad man.. I dunno how to write out Arabic letters using English keyboard. Urban rose! Make a thread so it's easy for me please. ^_^ |

| yeah that's right! ^_^ SEE it's a daad now you laugh at me for pronouncing it like that! It's exactly how it's written *rolls eyes* but yah, you know typi way of pronouncing the daad I say it more like that for THAT word... only insha Allah... I hope haha! Imagine if I do pronounce it typified way LOL no man, it took ages to get me to this stage... =( insha Allah one day I can master that letter so it's natural and doesn't take so much effort. |

| Its so easy zaroori lol keep practicing...here are some words starting with that letter or contain that letter in urdu... Zarb = strike Haazir = present Zaroori = compulsory Thats all the common words i can think of. Just checked in the dic...only 2 and a half pages of this letter lol |
