I learnt so many last week alhamdulillah but cause it's urdu to Arabic I forget cause I don't even know what half of them mean... ='(

I hate forgetting... ='(

how should I remember? I thought if I think of a picture with the word it'll be easier...

any other ideas? =( I know I should translate to English but online dictionary proper sucks, and my parents said they will insha Allah get me one but it'll be Monday methinks. I'll try using the one we have if it'll be any use. And our lessons are only half an hour so I can't always sit there and ask. =/

one of my Arabic lecturers says if you memorise a word seven times on seven different occasions, you will know it

ive never tried it though

picture is good idea, or link it through similar sounds etc

I hear words and then check up their meanings, then i forget them until i see the word again then it's meaning will come back to me.

I have a test!

Last week I didn't know one word and I had to write it out 10 times and it made my mood go bad. =( lol. No for real and if we don't know them in the test we will get detention and I feel slightly rebellious now cause I got punished... and I need to re check myself cause when I was like 'eh... what is that word, did we have that word' originally the teacher said 'okay write that word out 20 times' and I was like gonna shout 'are you kidding me?!?!' =o I didn't alhamdulillah.... =o

See, I've been out of like proper strict school madrasah in ages it kinda ruined my manners cause I wasn't speaking to people who you're meant to respect, I obviously wouldn't have meant it in a disrespectful manner, that's just how I speak. =o That's how I express shock. =/

Yes you get detention if you get three crosses in a week, every day you either get a like a... =/ pretend there's a box round this mark --> / OR a cross.

I'm talking about the madrasahs, they can't come right until they leave all the western ways.

You need to learn them.
Write down like 10 words and then keep repeating the meanings, you can read it to your friend and keep doing that...this way it goes in you long stay memory

Do you have the book of the words whose meanings you need? or do you know the words in arabic? post them here and i'll get you the meanings In-Shaa Allaah.

But it's okay, I can do it. I don't need any Arabic, just urdu, plus I have the whole weekend.. well.. tonight and tomorrow.

Well if it's from a book then you can scan the pages in or take a picture of it with your phone or camera
