"tame" is more respectful so you use it for older people, "tu" is less respectful so you use it for kids.

What is your name? - Taru Naam hu che?

taru is the less respectful one and tamara is the more respectful one.

These surtis are too kanjoos to apologise so i'll apologise on their behalf,

We apologise for all offensive and degrading abuse which you have suffered at the fingers of the evil no good surtis, we hope you will accept this apology and we will make sure it doesn't happen in the future.
