If there's anything you don't understand then ask and i'll try to explain it Inshaa Allaah, in arabic it's easy to understand, but to translate it into english is quite difficult, and english doesn't have proper meanings for many words, that's why you should learn all the terminology like "najaasah hukmi" and "najaasah haqeeqi" etc.

And a Mutlaq (general) command does require repetition (i.e. does not require the face to be washed multiple times).

Is that meant to be .. does not.. require repetition? If not.. then.. it doesn't make sense to me..

I had a question... =P

You know washing three times does it hold more reward than washing once or is this the same?

Is this gonna carry on or is it too much on your schedule? It's alright if you don't have time, was just wondering.

Washing thrice is sunnah, so it is more rewardable than washing once.

I'll try to carry on Inshaa Allaah, but this time i'm not going to try and translate the book word for word, but rather translate it in a way that makes sense for the reader.

Oh I have a question about what you just posted

We were discussing washing the face, I didn't think washing the eyes was something we had to do, but the waterline, ya'ani where kohl goes, has to get wet. Sahih?

As far as i know it doesn't have to be washed, because that is more counted as inside the eye that outside, and it's also part of what is being referred to in that post where it talks about washing the eyes.

But what i'll do is that on monday In-Shaa Allaah i'll double check it with my ustaadh.

I got a question about the author....did Imaam al-Kasani's wife die before him and did he used to visit her grave often?
